Although both are very easy to install and do pretty much the same and work in a similar way, so far I prefer Seesmic Desktop... edges it on ease of use for me.
However, what I feel both lack is the ability to add new follows/followers and manage existing followers... unless of course i've simply not found this functionality yet... please ley me know if this is the case?
